Jim Boswell

Jim is an old hand in the barrel business. He began his barrel sales career in the 70’s by introducing Sirugue wine barrels in California with mentorship from Dick Graff of Chalone Vineyard. He subsequently worked with Tonnellerie Radoux, Mendocino Cooperage, Tonnellerie Berger, Tonnellerie de Mercurey, and Kelvin Cooperage. He continues to have an active role in the company and is always on hand to give out his high quality toothpicks!

Janice Boswell

After five years working in the wine industry around the world, Janice is extremely excited to bring her passion and experience to the family business. Growing up with a bottle of client wine always on the dinner table, she was bit by the wine bug at a young age. After traveling from Burgundy to South Africa to New Zealand as a cellar rat, she eventually returned to her native Northern California where she worked as an assistant tasting room manager at Bacigalupi Vineyards. She spent her days pouring wine and her evenings studying viticulture at Santa Rosa Junior College. After completing several harvests in Sonoma County, most recently at Ridge Vineyards, Janice continues to explore all facets of the wine industry and feels lucky to have worked with so many esteemed producers. Today, she joins her father and fiancé Sean in bringing hand crafted, small lot barrels to the wine industry.
